How to make a SOAR reservation
Beginning in April, a SOAR invitation postcard will be sent to you after the Office of Undergraduate Admissions has received and processed your enrollment deposit. The postcard invites you to make a SOAR reservation through the My UW portal (my.wisc.edu). You will have the opportunity to select a session from more than 30 SOAR sessions offered from early June to the end of July.
After you log into My UW, look for the SOAR reservation box (located on the Home tab). This box will provide information about where you are in the SOAR reservation process. If SOAR reservations are currently being accepted, you will see a link to proceed with your SOAR reservation.
SOAR reservations will be accepted anytime after Monday, April 14 at 5 p.m. (CDT). Please remember that only students who have paid the enrollment deposit will be authorized to register for SOAR. Be aware that the Office of Undergraduate Admissions can take up to two weeks to process your enrollment deposit.
To make changes or review your SOAR reservation, log into My UW. Your reservation summary will appear with instructions on how to make changes. Changes to your SOAR reservation must be made at least one week prior to your SOAR date.
